Theoretical Background:

Social Exchange Theory:

The Social Exchange Theory posits that individuals engage in social relationships based on the principle of reciprocity. In the workplace, this theory suggests that when employees perceive a positive and supportive culture, they are more likely to reciprocate with increased commitment, loyalty, and discretionary effort (Cropanzano, 2005).

Job Demands-Resources Model:

These programs provide an environment at work where employees' overall well-being is valued.

Many companies are seeing the importance of Prioritizing mental health as studies have shown that employees who are overworked, stressed out, and frustrated tend to perform poorly in tasks assigned, resulting in high employee turnover.
